Illustrating a Comic Book Poem – Out Come The Wolves

Out Come The Wolves_ComicBookPoems

Out Come The Wolves starts with an explicit close up and by the time we reach the third illustrated panel the tables have turned. Here we see a beginning, a middle and an end. The illustrations tie the text together and explain the narrative of the Comic Book Poem. Technique wise we are very much in familiar territory with marker pens and ink being the tools used. This is in keeping with the visual styles that I have set in Series 9 of Comic Book Poems.
