Writing a Comic Book Poem – I Can’t Shut Up

I wanted to write a Comic Book a Poem that felt like a conversation. I Can’t Shut Up has a funny and conversational tone, but only at the end. It starts like an intimate conversation and concludes like an open and expansive anecdote told yo a room full of people. Read the text below, but please give the Comic Book Poem a good read as well.

I Can’t Shut Up
I can’ t see you, I can’t feel you
I am so obsessed with myself
Running my hot hot hand through my slick slick hair.
Feeling fresher than morning dew.
And I can’t shut up.
“Have you lost weight?”
“Yes, yes I have. Thanks Terry. Nice of you to have noticed.”
