Writing a Comic Book Poem – Priit

Priit is a Comic Book Poem that obviously draws on dreams and fantasy to show how someone can construct their own fantasy world. It is also about the pressures of finding employment and finding a job you enjoy. The text is fairly obvious and explicit and it was the illustrations that took an atypical approach here. This will be explained in the forthcoming Illustrating a Comic Book Poem – Priit blog post. Here the title of the Comic Book Poem will also be explained.

Priit
Finally found a job I enjoy
Don’t drift this time
Stick at it so you can dream
And dreams mean so much
One day after another
And one day closer
